@Farida Is it some kind of thumping? Could it be TTTS? I suffer from it pretty badly.
Farida
I do have thumping but it's not what I'm talking about, I can actually "feel" my voice while talking via vibrations, my right ear tickles and vibrates ehike talking and i actually can gear it from "inside"
Farida
@Stacken77 I also think it's TTTs actually, as TTTs is also known causing sound distortions

How you doing @Stacken77 mate?

Still can't see your profile page, so asking here.

Hope you don't mind @Farida.

Does your voice sounds louder to you on your right ear only ? Do you feel chewing and yawning sounds also ?
Farida

Do you have hearing loss, muffled hearing ? Or sensitive to certain sounds on your right ear which sounds normal on your left. And if I may ask what's exactly the cause of your tinnitus ?
Farida
No I don'r have muffled hearing hearing, and no apparent hearing loss. I can hear everything well imo, but I have a "broken earphone" effect, and some distortions while talking. I think it's caused by TTTs, as I also notice my eardrum vibrating and some ocassional thumping, flùttering and yes I do have some sensitivity to noises due to my anxiety towards certain noises
Farida
My Tinnitus is noice-induced, but it's also improved a great deal and is very faint

@Damocles mate, thank you so much for checking in, it means a lot.

I'm managing, taking it day by day. Exposing myself just a bit more in the daytime, trying to maintain the courage and hope for the best. Eating kebab and watching a lot of movies after work.

How are you doing mate?
A
There's a good chance that it'll fade. Have you tried vitamin B supplements ? During the first few stages of mine if I take vitamin B it does reduce the frequency
A
But now I'm more worried as to what is actually wrong with my ear
Farida
@Abdulrahman it's probably Barotrauma in your case, did your ENT give you steroids ?
Damocles
That's good to hear @Stacken77 my friend. Just keep doing this. Like I said, slow process. @Eleanor89 asked me this question 2 days ago... and when I thought about it, I realised it had taken me 6 years to improve like I have.

Not that I'm saying it will take YOU this long, each individual will be different. But the important thing is that you just keep doing positive things for yourself; because one day you'll be reciting what we're talking about right now, as memories to someone else who is struggling.

Anyway, on to my favourite subject.... ME !! XD

I'm very well, thank you for asking. I've got problems currently, but they're not tinnitus related (can you imagine that? but you'll be here too eventually!)

I've got to resume studies in September, and that means I've got to stop all this bad behaviour of lots of chocolate and caffeine and video games, while sitting writing rubbish on tinnitus talk!
