Tinnitus Talk Support Forum

@Christiaan You are so sweet - thank you! I had no idea I was witty, lol - I feel like I'm a bit of a serious Susan on here a lot of the time :P

I like seeing your comments, too. If you're ever in the UK let me know, because I would love to hang out! :)
Christiaan
You don't know half of how witty you are, Tanni;) Is everything peachy at work and all?

Sounds great! I'll take you up on that if my tinnitus ever decides not to be such a bore. Heard great stories about the historical landmarks of Bristol & would love to see it. Plus who would want to miss out on seeing Russel Howard live?

You're also more than welcome to visit my hometown if you ever decide to cross the pond.
T
Peachy is probably the wrong word for it, lol. Long story. But I'm OK.

Yes, you must! Especially if you have never been to Bristol before - we are a very beautiful city. You can come and see some Banksys in the flesh ;)

I'm not sure where you live in Holland exactly, but I've visited Amsterdam a few times :) Gorgeous city - the history and art are so impressive. And a decent collection of Irish pubs too XD
Christiaan
Well, feeling OK counts for something, right?

Bansky? Now you've finally done it! You've got me 100% hooked on going to Bristol;)

Well, The Hague is not far from Amsterdam & in size a bit similar to Manchester. So there's a ton of stuff to do. And what we lack in canals & Irish pubs, we make it up with art museums, historical sites (like the 13th century prison) and a nice beach. You'd definitely love it here!
T
Good - I insist you come here :) You will never want to leave :p

I have always wanted to visit the Hague - what a cool place to live! It's really important, politically speaking, for both UN and EU. Also, 13th Century prisons? Doesn't get better than that :p
Christiaan
I knew you have a soft spot for old prisons,Tanni XD And we have a lot more of that right up your street!

Well, thanks to Shell & UN, we also have a huge British community in the city. And we also have British pubs & lunchrooms like Scallywags, so you'll feel right at home.

Anyhow, I hope everything turns alright for you and you can always chat or whatever about how things are going on the other side of the pond;)
T
Haha, I actually do like old prisons; I'm visiting one in Belfast in a couple of weeks :)

I just looked up Scallywags and it looks mad in there! XD I would 100% eat there, just for the Diana artwork :p
Christiaan
You like prisons and going to dangerous places? Wow, you really are a woman of mystery. What more secrets are you hiding from me ;)

Belfast sounds great though. Must be heaven for you to see all those murals there. And don't forget Shankill Road btw!

Alright. Maybe we can make a reservation one year or two in advance? You'll never know how crowded it will be by then ;p
T
I'm a secret Tory voter and I love Trump :p

Just kidding, fellow liberal ;)

Yes, the murals look fab! We're also going to the Titanic museum, and potentially the castle. And I haven't been to Belfast before, but I'm guessing there'll be plenty of Irish pubs! XD

Yep, get that reservation booked in Christiaan. I want a window seat, please :p
Christiaan
Haha, you're as witty as ever Tanni;) I'm at least glad to hear that you ain't falling for those dweebs like Matt Hancock and his public school boys gang.

Great! I'll ask them for a special table at the window so you can admire Princess Diana & Meghan Markle (yep, it's still there!) artwork from a nice angle.
Christiaan
Don't you want to put some nice pictures of Belfast on the photo album thread? The way you write about Belfast almost makes me wanna go there as well. You'd make a great travel agent, I reckon;)
T
Well, from the video footage, Matt Hancock does look like he's good with his hands :p :p

Ugh, seriously I hate those Eton toffs! I can't believe the Tory party are still in power here, it's embarrassing.

Haha, maybe some photos of scenery, but my face is not going on there, for sure. Also, I feel too innocent to be in those threads at the moment - it's gone a bit saucy :p

Christiaan
Why not join the political arena, Tanni? Those tossers certainly won't stand a chance against the future MP from Bristol;P Just assign me, @aot , Steph & @Damocles to your campaign team, and we'll put BoJo out of business. It's that easy!

Of course Tanni! It's definitely understandable to take it easy with that kind of stuff. Hope you'll have a blast in Belfast.
Christiaan
& @aot is also more than welcome. I bet you'll get used to our flat country. It's not that different from Florida. Well, only minus the alligators, that well-coiffed orangutang and some palm trees I guess;)
