@Christiaan, for real, Mikel Arteta is completely out of his depth managing this club. In fact, it's Arsenal's descent as a top flight team that makes you realise just how much substance Pep Guardiola actually has as a manager. Arsenal thought that by hiring one of Pep's coaching staff as a manager, they'd be playing as Man City lite. Not Happening.
Well now THAT IS very interesting. I'll be frank and say I don't see Chelsea showing any interest in Ronaldo, seeing as they've just invested in a 5 year contract with Romelu Lukaku as their key striker... but perhaps Manchester United (may want him back) or even Manchester City (who are looking for a solid number 9, what with their current headache trying to pry Kane from Tottenham).

That's a very good argument @Damocles It's definitely not easy to copy someone's style of play and expect the same results. I have experienced a similar thing in field hockey (played it for 12 years). You have so many different dynamics to take into account and that makes it so hard to find the right synergy, like psychology of players, their playing styles & competenties, leadership skills,
quality of staff, quality of sport facilities, team building, etc. Coaching a team is basically rocket science
