Don't flush the toilet, and in future go in a bottle/plastic bag.
Christiaan
Do you hear a different/new tinnitus tone temporarily when you flush the toilet? I'm not entirely sure, but it sounds like reactive tinnitus to me.
Foamearplugssuck
@Christiaan hmmm you're right it's probably a reactive tinnitus since it fades away. plus I'm dealing with hyperacusis right now and some weird fucking tinnitus sounds so that makes sense.

My right ear did that with the shower. Eventually it just whistles intermittently on its own now
Stacken77
If it goes down immediately after the noise is over, I'd consider it a "sound distortion".

Sorry to use your profile. I have a question I often wonder..
When I improved my reactive Tinnitus went constant.., and then became more stable noise, and then lower volume until cicadas.. how's that possible?
Exit
Mine just like yours.
Reacts to toilets, faucets , fans, and even touching myself... Yes I see how that last thing sounds....
Damocles
So, similar to what I told @Foamearplugssuck, @Exit: stop flushing, stop washing, stop living in a warm climate, and for the love of God, please, stop touching yourself...
Stacken77
Yeah @Damocles, maybe we should just reside in a closet till we die.
Exit
I've been in the closet 20 months...
If I wasn't gay I don't know how I would explain that to the world..
Wrfortiscue
@Exit no wonder I'm always dropping things in front of you
