I remember during first 8-10 months my condition was only worsening, then started to gradually improve and improves till this day (22 months in).

Good question. Don't know why. Pretty much same here.

Sorry to hear that. What games are you playing?
Tau
@Guywithapug Overwatch and Apex. I used to be semi pro at FPS back in the day! :P
@Vassili Hoping I start improving soon. Do you have hearing loss? I have high frequency cochlear neuropathy. Hoping stem cells can help.
Vassili
I do not have any hearing loss, only T and H.

@Tau I don't play many games but enjoy Call of Duty, been playing Cold War lately, you have that?
Tau
@Guywithapug No, but I have been meaning to get into CoD games. Unsure if it's worth it at the moment when I can't use sound.

Team video games are off the cards once you have tinnitus; gotta stick to lone wolf style free-for-all play (probably what has turned me into such a cynical b@st@rd over the last decade).

Anyway, tinnitus probably ISN'T getting worse @Tau, but your sitting at home is increasing your perception of it.

For me, what helps, is getting "out and about" with my musicians earplugs in. Sitting in a cafe with them, enjoying the filtered sound enrichment. (Also the filtered Coffee! XD)

Hope that helps. Sure you'll figure out what works for you. But managing tinnitus is a balancing act of both protection and safe exposure.
