Yeah, but then I rejoice for the life I'm gonna get. Normal everyday-life is going to feel like heaven on earth to us once we're on the other side of this shit. That's the reward we get for putting up with these years.

@danielthor Those are definitely words to live by, Daniel. We will no longer take things for granted once we're back in business. I know I will;P

And who knows, maybe someone like Dr. De Ridder is on to something. We may very well be one of the first lucky people to receive ACTUAL treatment. So don't give up on hope, @Hamsti .

I'm so glad I have you guys. Never give up hope, you are right. Maybe we are the first to be treated.

@Lurius, I would come by and hug you If you would live nearby. I understand your fear.

Yes, especially because of hearing loss, I was an audiophile.

I did that quite often in the first 2 years. I still do sometimes but less so then the first two years. It IS a huge grief and a loss to have silence replaced by tinnitus (and ear pain in my case) For me its no different then loosing a beloved person in your life (silence and pain-free ears was very dear to me)

@Lurius a heartwarming hug for you *hug* (hugs to everybody else who is feeling real low). Im feeling your pain.

I also cry from time to time (today as well) for the life I could have had but never will. This has got to be one of the most cruel conditions.
