I had the same thing a while back, except the dog was a human baby.
@Wrfortiscue so far so good, idk why but my ears have been kind to me so far with these incidents

@Wrfortiscue T changes daily. Sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, constant changes in tones, new sounds come, then go. Old sounds reappear - I can't ever judge my T because it's so all over the place. Got a little chirp going again today. Too much noise exposure over Christmas.
@Steph1710 sorry to hear that, just give it time. I think you're like me and just saying F it and trying to live your life. As you know this condition can be unforgiving at times
