Thought everyone with hyperacusis wore ear defenders when handling these b@st@rds.

But you know, if you had never noticed it hurting your ears or spiking your T previously, it's unlikely to be of any concern in your particular case.

I always use hearing protection for stuff like that. Though, I'm surprise it measured 90 dB lol xD

I seem to remember, @Stacken77, for the brief period I walked around with a sound meter: I was shocked at how little, sounds I expected to be off the charts (like road noise) registered, and how much sounds I expected to be at the lower end of the scale (like conversations) registered.

@Damocles I have moderate t, but no hyperacusis. noises do seem to be more bothersome for me than before (especially sharp sounds) but not debilitatingly so. But honestly i think i'm gonna wear them cause it's a cringe inducing noise anyways.
