@Harder Calm I recently got a spike, most likely due to a cold with a short case of really painful sinusitis and fever. Two weeks on, and I think the spike is getting down slightly, but it's hard to tell. It seems to be very common to get spikes from colds, and I've read accounts of spikes taking over a month to resolve, so hang in there.

Do keep us updated, because I've wondered the exact same thing!

Oh, sorry to hear! Hopefully you'll get better! Will keep you updated!

@Stacken77 is it a new sound or one of the old ones but louder?
Stacken77
Old ones being louder, @aura. Of course, it has to be the worst tone too, the "angle grinder", lol. Give me a break...

Still struggling here. But I read about it and it seems to be common. Let's hope it will resolve with time.

Fortunately, I can report some progress here. The spike mostly declined with the cold (which was pretty heavy, from bronchitis to the whole throat/nose region, so that ear pressure could not really be balanced anymore).
