I can't understand how they can do it. I just cannot stop the anxiety attacks from it.

My friend is a pro touring musician who never wears plugs. I saw his audiogram when I visited him over the summer and it pretty much looked like a cliff starting at 2kz. He told me that last week after an especially loud concert, his ears were ringing so loud he literally couldn't have a conversation over them…but for some reason, it doesn't bother him…WTF?

@kingsfan Kind of makes me wonder if having a bad reaction to tinnitus is really a type of a phobia…

@Barry098 That mindset sounds nuts. I guess one could maybe handle extremely severe T in the daytime, but what about the night? I don't see myself ever sleeping again if the angle grinder got to conversation level volume or above lol.

I agree @Stacken77…When my T spikes it can get up to and even above conversation level. At these high volumes it is so overwhelming that I just want to crawl into a hole and die. Even at slightly lower volumes, it grinds on me throughout the day and jolts me awake in the morning. I truly don't get how anyone can live comfortably with severe T…
