  • Three days ago I had a very heavy heartbeat in my left ear. It subsided quickly but now I can notice it only on my left ear on the pillow.
I'm wondering right now if this is normal for neck stability. I have no symptoms but my right side is muchmore flexible and uncomfortable
After taking a long hot shower I noticed my T was at a similar level of when I first got it(very erratic and softer) for about 40 minutes

Yeah I have the same experience dozens of times. It doesnt always work, but often. It's usually temporary, though.
Last night had multiple hypnic jerks with 25 mg Seroquel could be a coincidence but probably going to go with horriblesleep until new drug..

Keep feeling like it spikes whenever I fail to fall asleep is it clenching? Worse than ever right now thinking I might just try Seroquel anyway.

@Reed19 I had the same with abilify... Couldn't fall asleep due to the jerks...
I've been noticing for a while now everytime I exercise it seems my mouth and my left ear will link up and my breathing goes to my left ear?

I've notice this too. It seems to happen to me when I'm working out with a mask

Something called PET dysfunction or the rarer Superior canal dehiscence? Never had it when I was a teenager. I also fear dentist these last few years because they will link up too.
Not sure how this makes logical sense. My guess is I have some type of hyperacusis only at high frequencies. This sucks because It was good.

Something called recruitment commonly comes along with tinnitus.

The uncomfortableness would make sense but I don't think I've seen pain as part of it? I definitely have to avoid any type of long term listening at least.
So I tried to find a good tinnitus masker 10-15khz below 60db at first I feltlike my ears felt really good but I had to stop because earpain
Well I didn't expect much but this ENTassistant basically didn't answer any of my questions and said yourhearing is normal or ask audiology.
Mid January noticed this awful high pitched left ear sound of unknown cause. Can't see life the same way. Normal hearing 0-8khz.

I am not a doctor and steroids have their own side effects, but if some sort of inflammation caused the ringing, this is one of your only windows for recourse. You're going to need to study up and be your own advocate here. In hindsight, I wish that I would have tried it.

Trying the ENT again. My T started out as inconsistent noise and now it's been more constant. Also trying neck exercises very somatic

I don't think that is uncommon, my understanding it can take 6-12 months to kind of settle into a baseline. I barely heard mine when it started, I'd wake up and it would be almost gone. They stopped happening over time. It's tough but try to ride out the fluctuations in the beginning.
