Yes, it's fascinating. Some people who experience a severe vertigo event lose the ability to maintain balance if a strong fear response is involved. In fact, bipedal balance should technically not be possible in humans. That's what a Phd lecturer told us anyway.

@HeavyMantra thats very interesting I actually don't have any of the associated physical symptoms like balance or vertigo mine is all visual. I'm starting to wonder if I had a brain stem stroke. Makes the most sense with my symptoms.

Hello, I think when I had my BVVP it felt the same. The way the physical therapist described it to me this way because I couldn't understand why closing my eyes sitting still I'd start sweating and having anxiety, which I've never experienced before!
LostinTX
she gave the analogy that your senses are like the legs of a chair and removing a leg (one sense-balance from your inner ear) your other senses start going crazy looking to compensate, hence the feeling your brain gets.

@LostinTX thanks that's exactly what I'm thinking I'm not out of the woods yet I have a focusing issue driving me crazy so I can't focus on anything throughout the day. Prayers needed and thank you all.

it will pass, it will just take some time and rehab :) at the time I was the opposite- T was the bigger issue for me than the vertigo and dizziness

Thanks so much @LostinTX I hear you as I remember how severe my T was however my vision is disabling it's like swimming underwater & not being able to focus on things. Waiting for an MRI as my therapists suspect something more sinister like MS. :( Stem Cell will be my next stop
LostinTX
oh wow, I hope not! I was scared of that diagnosis too. My MRI showed 7 white spots but it was cerebral small vessel disease instead. White spots can be from

anything from migraines, to depression or from smoking. Still made me freak out. My T didn't chill a bit until a year. Not sure if time or the clinical study eased it a bit. Still sucks having moderate T though.
