I did and I do a lot of camping in NJ state park. Cheesequake issue gets real full do to NYC visitor. I preferred round valley but the boat ramp area, high point state park and swartwoods state park.

I also did cabins rentals in parvin state park and had a great time. I love the outdoors and fishing, so I go often to state parks.

Hey @NYCGuy , I'm either going to high point or swartwoods state park this Saturday? Which one would you recommend first?

@ZFire Both are nice park, I was in swartwoods and is not that crowded but high point is bigger may be more full of people.

@ZFire for fishing high point but to spend a day with BBQ and enjoying outdoors then swartwoods. Both have ticks, so please use repellents.
