Got a second opinion today. Yep, she needs the specs. For some reason this is really triggering me. The idea of one of her senses not being 100%. Think I'll book her a hearing test.
Yeah man, I know it's daft. I have glasses myself lol. She has a similar prescription to me, so I guess she has my eyes. I just hope she got her dads ears. I really couldn't handle her having to deal with this shit.
If it makes you feel any better, she can always opt for lasik eye surgery when she's older (25-40 recommended age). The surgery only lasts like 5 mins and you'll get perfect 20/20 vision instantly for a lifetime.
@Wrfortiscue Yes sir, very low risk. It's one of the safest elective procedures out there. It also has one of the highest rate of patient satisfaction of any elective surgical procedures as well. People I know always tell me it's the greatest decision they've ever made. My brother did the procedure and hasn't looked back. The only negative I can think of is that it's quite pricy and not covered by insurance.
A bit off topic, but do you guys think that being in areas where you get distortions causes additional damage? I have seen improvement over time, but a recent fire alarm brought them back a bit.
