I hear the competition is gonna be fierce.

Not had it yet. It's today, very nervous.

I'm not that hopeful. As @ZFire said, competition is tough. I'm up against fully qualified surveyors, but gonna give it a bash and hope for the best. It would be perfect since it's remote, but not getting my hopes up.

Either way, it's good experience.

So it went OK, but definitely not the best interview I've ever had. Will find out tomorrow apparently, but not hopeful.

My PT went absolutely mental because of the nerves, very distracting at times lol.

That's really quick. I usually hear back from a Hiring manager 3-5 days after the interview. Sometimes I have to take the initiative and follow up with them if I don't get a response.

I got an follow up email today asking a few question about if/how I plan on finishing my degree if I got the job.

Not heard anything back since, so yeah, probably not a good sign lol. We shall see come Monday.

Have you heard back from your interview? Is the position you applied for remote?

I'm schedule for a 2nd interview with them. There's like 4 rounds of interviews you have to go through with them.
HR and Payroll coordinator which is the position I'm trying to get is a big responsibility there, hence the long process. I believe the job is supposedly hybrid. 4 days office, 1 day remote. that's hardly what I would call 'hybrid'…

4 rounds is intense. How are you going to manage the office? If I got the job I'd have to go in for meetings sometimes, even the thought of that is daunting. Loud talkers kill me.

It's like you said @makeyourownluck , there's nothing else you can do. You just have to get on with it. I'll bring ear plugs with me though.

@makeyourownluck when will you find out? Also, I would say the follow up email was a good sign - not a bad one. If they weren't interested, I doubt they would be bother to ask. :)

I thought I would know by close of play on Friday. Think I'll hear something tomorrow. One way or the other.

I got the job. Start end of September.

I was in complete shock when they phoned. Could barely string a coherent sentence together, must of sounded like a right muppet.

Ah shit, I need to complete a pre-employment health questionnaire…
