My pulsatile t came after the new onset of tinnitus from either noise or vaccine. Structurally it looks fine with mri so I think people can have pulsatile without structure issues just my two cents. Well it's pulsatile electrical crickets
If it's a whooshing sound, and it's in sync with your heart, it has to be pulsatile. Keep trying different doctors if you can. I don't know a whole lot about PT, but I think it has a chance of being treatable.
@Wrfortiscue I'm starting to think a good portion of people with PT don't have structural issues either. I didn't realize that noise could cause PT. Hopefully yours goes away :(
@kingsfan What does whooshing sound like exactly? I went onto the whooshers site, but none of the sound files sound like what I have. Mine reminds me more of like a bit of water being sucked through a straw, if that makes sense? It goes tsst. tsst. tsst.
I've read that it can sometimes be difficult for the examiner to detect. I actually get a similar sound when I bend over and blood rushes to my head.. have had that my entire life.
