@lanterns&coffee my T has been present for months too!! just had to find underlying causes and ease up on stress for a bit and so far it's been wonderfully relatively silent; perhaps one day we may all achieve our silent nights!! although i've been told before that i can be too determined for my own good XP but i'm hopeful for you, kid!! the body is a wonderful (and also terrible) thing ^^;; love, silentnight ^_^ <3

@lanterns&coffee ehe, it's just silent if i try not to think about it too much XP at least, that's part of my current hypothesis?? but me being how i am i can't stop obsessing over it, ehe.. makes me want to consider specializing into tinnitus research, since i feel like such an expert after going through so many potential treatments :P be a lead research in the war, y'know? may we all be saved one day... <3

@silentnight obsessing over the noise has really been something that was hard to push through; what helped me though since mine is potentially either noise induced or because of covid in the past, which I hope isn't the latter, is that I read a post on here that said something along the lines of noise induced tinnitus will always be habituated to.

I still hear the noise and it's still present; but most times it doesn't bother me because I've become used to it

@silentnight But !! Anywho !! It really boils my blood how the government cares about spending money on unnecessary things and having political outrages with one another but they can't exactly put in money or start proper research for chronic / terminal illnesses ,,
lanterns&coffee
unless of course it happens to one of them. Chronic illnesses can be terminal if we're talking about mental health, too. These illnesses / symptoms are all belittling.

I know personally my life turned around really hard when I noticed my T. My guess is that I've had it before but only then I noticed it was always there. I'm a relatively new artist and a veteran / pretty good rhythm & otome game player, and I had to stop my hobbies because I fell in this horrible hole. I couldn't focus and upon other issues I was mentally going through, tinnitus just added onto it.

So I do hope one day, (1) day, the health department would be able to open their eyes to these issues and realise that it's ruining lives. ( ´△`)
