I've done a course of three intratympanic steroid shots a bit over 3 months after onset. They did not worsen my symptoms but I'm not sure if they helped much. The procedure itself is quite uncomfortable, but I'm happy I tried it.

I might have had a bit of reactivity at first, right after onset, but that subsided before I got the shots. My main problems are hyperacusis and pain, and I also have constant high pitched tinnitus.
