Thanks man, you're right this is brutal- as I was starting to feel a little better from a couple days ago, I opened a ziploc bag today and that specific sound somehow spiked everything terribly. Nothing could make less sense. I experience much louder dB sounds throughout the day that don't do that

Just stay away from medications. Especially benzos. They will make everything worse.
They sound like quite the double edged sword for this community - help some people get a grip on things but throw others off a cliff. So frustrating. What was your experience specifically like?
Pure hell. No sound tolerance left because of benzos I believe.
I'm beyond my limits with this and am intrigued by the Dr Shulman protocol of klonopin and gabapentin. Is that a mistake to even try?
