Sneezing, will usually force open the eustachian tubes to allow air to flow in and out. Typically the ringing will get louder for a few seconds. I haven't had it last for more then 5 seconds I can only imagine it's cause pressure build up in the Eustachian tube, and takes time to stabilize pressure again

I remember having days without sleep man I've been exactly where you are at. Benadryl became my best Friend the only thing that actually helped me fall asleep. I tried melatonin, zquil, night aids none of that crap worked it wasn't until my heavier set brother said hey man I'm a big dude and one pill of Benadryl will knock my ass out. Went to the store got a pack popped one and 1hr lights out

But if you're fearing otc meds I totally understand I felt the same but I was going 72 hours with maybe 1hr of sleep I needed something to knock me out

@Sammy0225 isn't benadryl an anti histamine as per my google search?
J
@Sammy0225 and how long since the onset did you get out of the sleeplessness?
Sammy0225
@Jackson Brady yes it's typically used for allergy relief but also has a strong side effect to make you drowsy, I was desperate and hadn't been getting sleep I will admit I got addicted to Benadryl cause the drowsiness effect I eventually got off of it

Right now my ears are screaming from a spike I've just learned to deal with it over time
