Tinnitus Talk Support Forum

Hello Ali, I went to an AC/DC concert in mid-Sept which I wasn't even planning on attending (since I've seen them 3x before).

My drunk ass decided to cup my hands over my ears to hear Angus Young's guitar solos better. -- I remember a burning sensation in my inner ears but was too drunk to care or even consider that I could be damaging my ears.

I'm at a steady 6 (out of 10) and try to limit the masking since they say it is best to do so in the first few months when your body is trying to recover from a one time event like a loud concert.

I just went downtown (Chicago) with my wife and had lunch, etc. -- Literally, for 4 hours I had zero T because of the background noises. -- It was awesome. -- How did you get it and how do you cope?

I had worked for 6 hours at noisy place between around 90-110db
And I'd felt fullness in my ears and then it passed 2-3 days later but my ear ringing stayed there . everything passed after 10 days
and one day I noticed its there but I feel my t at night or so quiet room anymore

it started 22 august = 10/10
30 august = 1-2/10

But I have still there as 1-2/10

I would love to be at a 2 right now. -- Congrats Ali. Sounds like your recovery is going well! :)

thanks maybe you had seen in this forum
you think is there any person noise-induced who cured.

can be concer club vs...

Do you know is this possible ?
John Meyers
Yes Ali. There are 2 guys who are almost 100% cured and continue to check in on me. -- I'm sure there are many more, however, they don't come to the forum anymore since they don't need the support.

80 to 90% of noise induced sufferers fully recover in the first 12 months if their T is caused from a one-time event and they don't expose themselves to extremely loud situations while they are recovering.
