@Strawberryblonde I try to tell myself that since it's not dead set on a tone permanently, it means that it can change, and if can change maybe it can run out of gas eventually, and if that happens maybe it will go to quiet whisps of air sound some day.. wishful thinking all the way :)
I feel like that's what's happening since it's not yet to a stable tone it's fluctuations could be a good thing. I might have been more worried about a constantly high pitch that never dropped in volume. Are you in quietness all day or do you watch TV , music and do stuff at the house normally? @ErikaS
@ErikaS I feel you. Have this for about a year. Sometimes it's better and I have only 2-3 sounds not too reactive. With setbacks it becomes 5 sounds for several weeks (1 of them is a crazy siren). I don't pay attention to them anymore. What is killing me now is the hyperacusis.
@Sammy0225 I am able to do stuff around the house normally minus vacuum and blender. TV is on low in background a lot of the time, and I can do kitchen noises pretty well.
@Sammy0225 I don't struggle with actual hyperacusis like sounds sounding louder or causing any pain, but continuous noises will make T go higher in frequency and crazier. But like @Wrfortiscue, mine can also just randomly go higher frequency/sound more intrusive with little to no sound input.
