Adding on: this hissing I'm starting to think is actually a form of TTTS and not so much a tone, it has a physical sensation hard to explain. But often now the hiss sounds more like a tiny insect trying to flap it's wings. So I'm starting to aim more at the tensor tympani muscle high dose of MAG almost completely eliminated it B4 the setback

I'm at 450mg and I'm eating foods high in magnesium like avocado and spinach but I'm careful not to over do it. Before my setback the hiss turned into what sounded like a small insect trying to flap it's wings which lead me to believe it wasn't a tone and more of the tensor tympani muscle constantly flexing (hissing) If I calm this muscle I'm noticing reactivity calms with it

There is the option of getting the nerve completely burned off but I feel I'm not yet at that point. I'm now focusing on everything that can help relax it naturally
