Strange isn't it :-/ I can tune out most T sounds just not that one. I also have a sore throat so wondering if that has any correlation with it hmm . @Sammy0225
@Strawberryblonde, got my upper cervical injection today but only one side. I took 2 ibuprofen and 2 Tylenol when I got home and the static went away. It's more high pitched now, not too bad, The static can be truly brutal.
@Strawberryblonde, thanks but it didn't continue. I awakened at about 4:15 with about 2 hours sleep with loud hissing in my left ear only. Must be some inner ear damage of some kind that the sleep cycle resets. More than likely barotrauma damage. A real bummer.
I'm going to try physically therapy for my neck in case it's related to my SCM muscles. The Dr. today prescribed PT after I asked him to. Now that I'm fully awake my noise has lessened.
@Strawberryblonde this is truly the hardest sound to ignore because I feel like not only do we hear it, we can feel it. Yesterday was the very first day my high pitch static was so minimal, it made me feel 50% or more cured. I didn't realize out of all my sounds, if this one went away or was soo minimal in the background and didn't react, I could absolutely manage. It's back today :(
