Tinnitus Talk Support Forum

New here!
Damocles
@ZFire quit posting in the 2020 US Presidential Election thread... for 14 hours.

I passed an exam.

@tpj slept next to a Koala.

And the best hope tinnitus sufferers had for hearing restoration this century went bust.

All in all it's been fairly mundane. Welcome back!

@Damocles lol! Officially done now! But not going to lie, the temptation is strong right now. Must resist! I want to start focusing on the research section of this forum. Not as well verse in it as others (like you). I don't think I can offer much there. I'll just read and maybe ask questions.

Congrats on the exam. One step closer to long term success!
Also Hi @Moni97, long time no see

Hi @SarahMLFlemmer welcome to the forum. Sorry your suffering from this but we're all here for you. You're not alone <3

I'm sorry my brain stop processing after @tpj slept next to a koala. Best thing I heard all week!
@Damocles congrats on your exam.
Moni97
Hey @ZFire how you doing? And why are you quitting the election thread? xD you're the whole reason I read it lol

Appreciate that, @Moni97 . Honestly, I'm burnt out and bored of that thread. I rather talk about koalas and game of thrones instead. Way more fun.

Managed to get a lovely winter cold for the first time in ages and it's made my T nice and high pitched
-_-

Same @Strawberryblonde. Just beat the thing last Thursday, after waking up with it the Saturday before.

The tinnitus went down a couple of days later (as usual).

Hope mine buggers off to where it came from too lol the hiss/static combo is annoying me :-( I'm on day 3, throat has eased off at least. @Damocles
Moni97
@ZFire understandable. Now what house are you?
@Strawberryblonde aww :( I'm sorry. Your T should go down once you're better. Try pine needle or nettle tea, it really helps colds. Old Native American remedy ^-^
S
I will deffo try it if I can get my hands on it and tolerate the taste too lol :-) @Moni97
Moni97
@Strawberryblonde lemon and honey will be you're best option if you don't like herbal tastes
Moni97
I also don't know where you are in the world but if you can boil fresh pine needles, you'll get the best results that way
S
I love adding honey to hot drinks and I'm in the UK so I may have to go search for a some kind of herb/supplement shop or online will probably be a lot easier :)
