If any of those two are real, I'm convinced its the latter and not the former.

@Lurius so just to be clear, you think that anxiety may come first and then cause tinnitus?
Lurius
Yes. Absolutely. The summer I got tinnitus, in 2018, I had a knot in my stomach for 4 weeks straight and my heart was beating strangely. I felt very anxious through that summer and anxiety is generally conisdered a "common trigger" of tinnitus in my country. Ofc, after I got the tinnitus, the anxiety got about 1000% worse...

I co existed with my old T and anxiety in the past and they never effected each other. Now my anxiety is sky high at times because my T got louder. Deffo the T making my anxiety worse this time.

Let's be real, every living being goes though phases of anxiety and stress. Due to work, health, personal matters and all. Everyone would have tinnitus if that was the case. It just that we correlate anything that is close to when we got tinnitus because there is no other logical explanation.

There are real pathological problems causing tinnitus and anxiety has nothing to do with them. The ear is a delicate organ and it's unknown at the most part and we don't have the means to see every little thing that can go wrong.

I've always had some really low level anxiety. Didn't know what real anxiety felt like until getting T. Now I feel like I'm being electrocuted 24/7. Thought this couldn't last forever but…well it ain't going away. Every day requires a practically Herculean effort just to finish.
