Never have, sorry. But what works extremely well for me is Bromelain. Is a pineapple enzyme that helps with pain and swelling and inflammation. My GP prescribed it once (but it is actually an over the counter medication) and it worked so well that I now have a big bottle sitting on my shelf, so that I can take my two capsules a day whenever I feel a cold... coming up.

Thanks @Leila i will check that out :) it's such a minefield now when it comes to taking things. With my old T I wouldn't of batted an eyelid at the thought of taking something for a cold.

I know what you mean. It's for this very reason that I've been trying to find herbal substitutes for the chemistry experiments doctors are far too quick to prescribe. So far, it seems to work, or maybe I've just been really lucky, because I haven't had a cold in years.

Does it have NAC in it? I take a French product called MucoDrill, which is just N-Acetylcysteine. It's good - thins mucus - and people on here take it for its antioxidant properties

No idea what it contains unfortunately as not read up on the ingredients. Will have a look also at what you have recommended @Uklawyer thanks :)

Are you asking me, @Uklawyer? If so, I'll gladly have a look.
