Just to add on. During the past few weeks I had 2 or 3 loud tones then out of the blue I would get a 10 second period of fleeting Tinnitus that would take all the tones away when it finished. Ears re-callibrating? 0.o
@tniuf mainly hyperacusis. My ears can tolerate more moderate noise now and spikes are becoming more harder to trigger. So some type of stability is starting to form. I live close to a airport and jets flying over my apartment no longer spike my ears
The more you recover, the more your ears/brain can tolerate. The fact that your fleeting tinnitus is clearing up tones is a great sign - I think your brain is figuring this out well.
Take things slowly though, it must be so tempting to expose more.
sometimes that is what helps and it seems to be working for you gradually doing it over a period of time in increments is making sounds more tolerable to you and the brain/auditory system.
So good to hear! @Sammy0225 - there I think is a lot to be said about desensitising the cells against noise using sound so they aren't so sensitive and reacting. Looks like its working for you!
This definately was working for me too in small doses until recently, so can work for some reactive tinnitus
@DeanD@ErikaS@ZFire@Strawberryblonde@Jupiterman thanks for the positive vibes. I think my story might be coming to an end here on TTalk. Well.. if progress keeps continuing. Sending good vibes my friends
Thanks @DeanD I'm hoping a swift recovery for you also my friend.
Controlled healing allowed my TTTS to relax and in response of my TTTS relaxing reactivity went away.
Once I had that taken care of I worked on H when I got H to start relaxing I got the winding up Tinnitus to relax. So daily spikes are becoming less and less.. It had to go in this exact order for QOL to be improve
