Hey @ErikaS - the tinnitus may have softened ever so slightly (trying not to be too overly optimistic here lol). Still loud but maybe ever so slightly softened.
Unfortunately physical symptoms are back with tightness in throat stopping me eating again. If it isn't one thing it's another!
How are you doing?
Ugh, do you think it's a build up of intense stress/anxiety form a worsening that makes your brain shut down other things? I'm just so sorry you're dealing with this…
I wanted to also share with you, not that I am comparing our situations, but I too have reactive T, however when my high electric tone/sound/hiss goes haywire, I play the neuromodulation from the TinnitusPlay app and this truly helps it quiet down while I have it playing and give me a break. I cannot say it will be the same for you but I wanted to tell you. I have the frequency set between 13-14k hz
@ErikaS - well anything is possible. I haven't ruled it out. I did go for an endoscopy two weeks ago which came back clear (although before the ear plug fitting) - started eating normally and everything was fine until it randomly came out of the blue on Tuesday. May be acid.
I am a little concerned as the worsening has caused headaches, jaw tension and neck numbness so not sure if the throat is part of that now.
@ErikaS - well I used to have quite a bit of residual inhibition when my tinnitus was quieter and only a couple of tones, but that unfortunately seems to have disappeared.
My tones are all over the place. Head is full of noise. Couldn't even say how many tones - (I remember just having 1 tone 5 months ago when this started) . Not sure it would work for me I'm afraid but thanks for the suggestion :)
I use DaleSnale on youtube who makes tinnitus mixes with differing frequencies and they seem to make my T quiet in the morning. Could you tolerate a low volume placed away from you? I have my volume set on half a notch up from silent just enough to slightly hear it and my T and it helps me sleep. @DeanD
