T has pretty good lately. Why? i think because i have immersed myself in quiet relaxing activities such as running, golf, basketball.

Friends are disappointed, but i am the one who has to deal with the consequences of a potential worsening.

I think I am skipping the final day because there is too much anxiety and don't want to cause problems for myself.

went to a music festival this weekend with hearing protection everywhere. I've been mostly ok but ears are bugging me today.

I honestly don’t understand how everyone doesn’t have tinnitus after spending 2 nights on Broadway in Nashville.

This week my left ear was hurting so much that my eye hurt too. Today barely any pain. Weird. I hope this spike is going down.

When does this end?

Going through a pretty bad spike right now. Increased baseline and T is reacting to my own voice.

99% of us can go to a rave every weekend and put our ear on the speaker and we will never ever find out what T is. It flabbergasts me.

2 years from now Susan Shore will have come through and you'll be sitting on the beach not noticing your T at all.

If Shore's device works and can cut my T by even 40- 50% that would be huge. T almost buried me. 6 years of this disaster - but I will win.

I believe there is hope. My wearable noise generators have helped immensely - i believe that is what helped H get better.

I have spikes occasionally which have always come back to baseline. Lately I have had a bad spike but believe it is subsiding.

my Hypercusis which was once a massive problem is not often an issue. My T is still a daily battle, but I am winning most of the time.

I have improved my golf game, I am shooting in the 70s. I have taken up cooking as a hobby. I run every day. I am out and about daily.

I have gone to MLB games, football games, hockey games, multiple concerts both indoor and outdoor. All with hearing protection of course.

I have gone on vacation to mexico twice, california twice, I have worked out in the gym and lost 90 lbs and gotten fit.

it is mostly doom and gloom here. So I'm going to write something positive. The last 2 years my life has been relatively normal.

Susan Shore's device can't come soon enough.

Is T just a sound for you or does it come with a whole bunch of other symptoms?

My life would be perfect w/o T. I have a good job, great family, friends and wife. I have everything I could ask for and more but T ruins it

There is a lot more to T than just a sound. So many other symptoms. If it was just a sound, I could mostly mask it and move on with my day.

I don’t think I did anything differently than anyone else I know. Why me? What is happening in my brain?

Lately I’ve been having a lot of negative thoughts. Like why is this happening to me and not everyone else?

Feel free to say hello, I’m active more lately. I’m a 6 year T veteran. I would say overall the last 2 years I have been winning the battle.

I have been very close to writing a success story in the last year but somehow keep reverting back to a tough place.

Going through another spike. ARGH. I was feeling great for the first 2 weeks of march - i hope to return to this.

first 2 months of 2022 T has been pretty good. Little bit of a spike right now, but it will go down.

Been struggling in December - lots of fleeting T. I've been through spikes before though and I always come out on the other side.

Experienced some fleeting T on the weekend that was scary, but seem to be doing better now.
