i think there's a high chance! what medication caused your T if you don't mind me asking?
Lurius
I dont think the device takes trigger into consideration. It's all the same to the brain, if it's ringing, it's ringing. So I wouldn't worry too much about that.
SarahMLFlemmer
@yeezysqueezy Accutane. =[ Why do you think there is a high chance?
SarahMLFlemmer
@Lurius well, I don't think mine would be considered "somatic." =/
Lurius
Mine is not somatic either, but no one is completely sure how that's going to play out. And Shore has confirmed there will be a non-somatic version of the machine down the line.
SarahMLFlemmer
@Lurius key words; down the line. ;(
Lurius
Yes, but just think about people who has had tinnitus since the 90's. Or even earlier. They'll be like "Well, I'll be damned...in my lifetime!"

Can you change the sounds atall by moving your neck or jaw?
SarahMLFlemmer
@Utdmad89 No. Doesn't that mean it won't work for me?
Utdmad89
Probably not at this time. But she did say she will try and get it to work for nonsomatic T

Ugh Accutane I'm sorry :( I have not come across anything saying it will definitely NOT work for non-somatic T. However, the successful studies have been on somatic cases so they're not going to come out and say it will work for non somatic cases when that wasn't explicitly studied yet.
