100% this - (even after 3 years)
It's like just after waking up there is a cocktail of:
- realising what is going on
- mostly quiet bedroom
- no distractions so time to focus on T
Once you get up and start your day, you (hopefully) start focusing on other things and anxiety / depression levels drop a little bit.
When I was depressed mornings were the hardest part of the day, I totally understand you. Taking a ssri and working again (from home) has really helped me to feel better mentally. I hope you can find something that helps you soon.
