:( Does the pain seem to be triggered by sound? Do you have any hyperacusis (things sound abnormally loud)?

you may need a thorough investigation to find out a potential underlying issue. :)

You shouldn't feel pain, The type of pain you feel and what causes it is very important. @Strawberryblonde is right, and @yeezysqueezy is more qualified than me in this subject. She'll steer you in the right direction, hope it's nothing long term

Yeah, you shouldn't feel pain with just T. Has this started recently? I'm thinking could be either ear infection, agitation from earplugs (esp foam, if you use those), or hyperacusis. I've got hyperacusis & experience burning pain in my ears regularly (though am able to control it to an extent).

Have you done anything different lately? I also had pain in my right ear for 6-9 months and it gradually faded away. I hope for you that it gets better!

sorry i jumped right to hyperacusis. probably least likely. I would have your doc check what your ears look like first.
