For sure. I miss being able to sleep through the night and miss actually getting a reasonable amount of sleep over the last ~15 months. Still averaging in the range of 4 to 5 hours and occasionally 2 to 3 hours like two nights this week, and that's with low dose zolpidem assist taken sublingually overnight.

I've seen no improvement from trying many recommended supplements and implementing tips from many hours of research for sleep hygiene. At least zolpidem helps. Nortriptyline made no difference, either. Weaning off - at very low dose now. Very frustrating it doesn't get better after all this time.

15 months of 4-5 hours? I would die! I was actually sleeping quite well for a while. A bit of a night owl but still. Love a lie in when I can get one.

My issue is I'm on this new AD that's giving me nightmares. Losing so much sleep for the past 2/3 weeks, they feel so real it's freaky.

It's the only downside so far though so still sticking with it.

I originally tried having multiple masking devices around the room so that I couldn't hear my T much, but it just bugged me as well.

Best improvement in my sleep came from just forcing myself to go to sleep on silence.
RunningMan
Yeah, 4 to 5 hours going back over a year. It was even worse the first month or so when T suddenly worsened. I went 3 out of 4 nights once with no sleep at all, various other times only sleeping 1 hour. The last 5 nights averaged closer to 4. And it's never straight through, either. I've done silent a few times when T was less disturbing, but I didn't sleep any better.

I don't have much issue with nightmares. Reality is bad enough. Are you taking that AD just for nerve pain, or depression & anxiety also?
makeyourownluck
I took it purely for nerve pain, but it's definitely improved my mood. TBH, I feel borderline euphoric - may not suit most people but I'm into it. I was definitely depressed before taking it, feeling great now. Still in constant pain but at a level I can handle.

It's night and day for me really. Have you tried anything except Nortrip? Lack of sleep will not be helping you cope
