Hey @Brambo2204 , the reason I have difficulty matching my T sounds is due to the fact that I maybe have one sound/tone that presents as a constant straight frequency, and even that goes lower and higher in pitch due to reactivity (usually 2180 Hz or higher at 2750 Hz).

@Brambo2204 My ultra high frequency tone(s) are so high that there is an electric power source sound to it with a slight hiss rather than a tone. That falls from 13k Hz to 16 Kz which is where my SSHL was in my R ear. All other sounds are electric changing beeps, buzzing, oscillating sounds that just cannot be matched because they are not a tonal sound with a set frequency.

@Brambo2204 My tinnitus is reactive, changing and fluctuating with sound stimuli, so masking isn't really a thing besides my low running fridge in my kitchen. With my ultra high pitched sound, I play neuromodulation beeps from the TinnitusPlay app. I set the freq. anywhere from 11k Hz to 13Kz and that can tame my high crap when it is nasty. However, when I turn it off, it comes back. Hope that helps.

I will add that the ulta high pitched sound is my most debilitating and it is AWFUL. If I didn't have that sound, and less reactivity, I would consider myself 70% cured and would be a lot more functional. Thankfully the ulta high stuff is somatic for me, so REALLY hoping Dr. Shore's device can make my dream a reality.

Hi Erika, thanks for your elaborate answer. I really feel sorry for you that you need to suffer that much under the ultra high pitched sound. This is something I recognize as well, although my ultra high pitched sound is not reactive.
