I haven't, yet my ENT brought it up 6 months after mine suddenly got worse offering to provide it for me. I declined. I had actually brought it up to my GP months earlier just a few weeks after the sudden worsening, and he said hell no because I was having bad insomnia. I heard it's best if taken a week or so after trauma. And some people have reported worsening, so I don't regret not taking it.

@RunningMan That's what I was afraid of! I've read very little people have had success with it. I'm afraid of it making it worse. One of my patients ventilators made a high squeak noise and it set something off inside my head. So today isn't fun. Now my noise has a tiny spike. Ear plugs from now on.

My primary tinnitus changes from hiss to squealing tone and will ramp up in volume at times that really bothers me, but it seems to do it without any external stimulus or diet changes, although exercise will do it also. But yeah, 3 months sounds way too long for that. The squeak you heard just might have triggered a temporary spike rather than new permanent trauma damage.
