Do u have a sound machine - I have and it does make a difference to me. I play it pretty low level on grey noise. I have it on ground beside bed so that it's not too close to my head xx

Pretty simple I just don't sleep lol. I honestly get a good night's rest about 1 every 3 days. Otherwise I just toss and turn all night until the morning.

@SarahMLFlemmer depending on how loud yours is but if its mild enough try fans, humidifiers, dehumidifiers air conditioners or a sound generator that produces a smooth white noise. if you use any sound thing make sure the sound is either just below or just above your tinnitus. hopefully yours isnt reactive or spikes

At my worst, I used nature sounds on very low played on my phone by my bed. Now, I sleep with a humidifier by the bed and the water sounds are just enough to help.

I play my tunes from the Resound App and listen through the tinnitus, the t is there but I tune it out for the most part.

Sarah is your tinnitus reactive of not ?

I don't anymore. If you're hesitant to try prescription sleep meds (which is understandable since your T was medication induced), maybe something gentler and from over the counter could help? Melatonin and magnesium are both good options. I take them + prescription sleep aid but in the past melatonin did the trick for me just fine :) Also yes sound generators are good too.

@ErikaS I'm really not sure. I feel like when I have the fan on high that my tinnitus wants to compete with it, like it raises louder, but that's the only time that I notice it. Do you think that sounds like reactive T to you or??
