How does one rate their T. I hear mine pretty much through everything. It seems to get louder with most sounds

It's your perception of it and there's also a scale you can look up. If you can hear it over the TV and everything else then it's moderate. If it's barely noticeable watching TV and talking it's mild. Mine bounces between both.

@Tryn2BHopeful and typically the first few months are the worst in most cases. I'm still in those months where it's loud and crappy.

At baseline my multiple sounds are 3-5/10 , but once the reactivity to sound gets going the intrusiveness of my 12k Hz and up sound can jump to 10/10

@ErikaS How did you find out it's 12k Hz? Is that the level of your Tinnitus?

My SSHL from ear infection in my right ear started at 12.5 k Hz and goes up to about 16k Hz. This was confirmed on my extended audiogram, it's very different from what I can hear in left ear. This is the sound that first came on because it's in the hearing loss range, then other lower tones came on 1-3 months after.
