Tinnitus makes having a career so dang hard. Between the cognitive distraction and the constant sleep problems.

@Ryan Scott For the most part I've been okay with sleeping but as time goes on it seems issues are arising. I try to stay positive but right now it's just wrecking what life I have left. People at work are noticing that I went from a happy person to a quiet sad person.

@Mo8409 Yeah I have sleeping problems, I only stay asleep like 1.5 hrs then wake up. I do work as an engineer, currently trying to find a remote job. But it is proving to be harder than I expected.

@Joe Cuber Yes they do. One of my coworkers had mild T for 2 months before it went away. So she kinda gets it. I just need to stabilize my mood in order to deal with this. If people can live with T for their lives then I have to figure out how they're doing it. Maybe the answer is in time since I'm still so new to all of these symptoms, ya know? I hate my life to be honest. I hate every second of living.

@Joe Cuber I was someone who loved adventure and excitement and was always so happy and positive. Now I'm a depressed shell of myself the person I once was has shriveled away from trama from the noise. I hate the fact I have vacation in 4 weeks. I'm just going to be miserable in a new place. That isn't relaxing.

@Ryan Scott I'm a Cardiovascular Technologist and also work in Neurology. I think it's good to be out of the house every now and again talking with patients and coworkers. I think working remote would be too isolating with the noise. I hope you find something.

@Ryan Scott I work in a hospital but I do have an office. It just depends on the day and my patient load. I typically run tests on my patients at bedside. So kinda. Lol
