Hi @Ellaenchanted868, I think I initially got very low T after taking Clonazepam. I only took a very small dose for 4 months and did a micro-taper. I had very soft T, like cicadas, for about 3 years. Then during the pandemic, my son yelled directly in my ear. I started having fluctuations, louder T and hyperacusis. I had no idea what it was. I had never heard of it.

@Ellaenchanted868 I'm sorry you are struggling. It is life-changing, but you can learn to live better with it. I now teach college and I'm writing my dissertation for my doctorate all with T, H and vertigo/dizziness.
I would say I lived a normal life before this. I went to concerts, taught elementary school (which can be loud) and went to baseball games, firework shows, etc. I noticed I started hearing static when I was a school administrator in a very high stress job. I also had had numerous ear and sinus infections.
