Hi Juliane, you are in worst part right now. I was still in disbelief at 2 years but by 2.5 I'm doing well. When I was 7 months in I couldn't imagine living like this but you adjust to a more complicated but still beautiful life. Just trust me, it will get better or you will get better at dealing with it.
