We all miss it, but have to create a new environment in which live in. Like someone who becomes blind or paralyzed. It isn't easy. I takes time and practice.

If you have no problems with your hearing, your T may settle down and resolve itself. Stress and anxiety is a major culprit.

Tinnitus is a well known condition, so doctors are aware of it. The problem is what caused it? There are many ways to get T, so that's why it's hard to treat it. If it sounds like distant sirens, maybe it is starting to abate? Mine sounds like a siren blasting away and inch from my ear!

I sleep with a sound machine and 3mg of time released melatonin and an 1/8 of a mg of Xanax. I survive by keeping busy and being outdoors. It is difficult and not even 1% as good as my life before, but my family & friends keep me going. I love to cook and drink wine, so I prepare meals in my kitchen, with a sound machine and after a few glasses, my T is reasonably low, for few hours.
