Ondine
@ErikaS I did have multiple tones at my worst - pure tones, wine glass, humming, chimes, computer/electronic sounds, bilateral. I still have multiples tones, they tend to come back in the evening or when I'm on my period, but remain extremely faint compared to what is was 2 years ago. That's why I say I'm not 100% healed, but almost.

@ErikaS I had/have some kind of sensivity/reactivity. Before joining TT, I masked my T by listening to music on lowest volume with headphones, and it damaged my ears even more. I never put headphones again after joining this community. But I went through several loud events (fire alarms, 12 dentists appointments, etc) without any spike or worsening since.

@ErikaS However, loud environments still cause me discomfort - children screaming, people talking loudly. I had to leave a restaurant once, and usually end up with foam earplugs during family reunions because everyone talks too damn loud. Once back home, I have to ice my ears to ease the burning sensation.
