A lot better, thanks. Minimal reactivity, and it's kind of the aural equivalent of glowing coals after a fire has mostly died down. The flareups get shorter and shorter, and farther and farther apart, on average. If I keep my stress low, stay hydrated, and get enough rest, it's pretty close to living a normal life. I go for hours without thinking of it.
Hey Keith - glad to hear you're doing better and better. Did you have hyperacusis after your acoustic trauma? Or did you just go straight to tinnitus? I'm struggling with H 10 months post night club incident. The ringing just kicked in 2 months ago and I think I can habituate or ignore it since it's relatively mild. But H is a merciless monster.
