There's a lot of darkness, for certain, but if your T causes anxiety and depression, it can magnify the perception in your mind and make it feel even worse.
I was watching 'Our Planet II' on Netflix over the weekend. It made me feel slightly more positive about the wonder of the world (despite the impact of humans and climate change on nature...) and was a nice distraction from thinking about current wars etc. Also, I wasn't feeling jealous watching human actors with normal hearing on screen haha.
It is, but if you're generally very happy and satisfied in life it's stuff you can all easily shrug it off and not care. For the rest of us, we see it clearly. Especially when you're living with T or any other terrible condition and no one seems to care, it just ruins your perspective on life.
Personally I do feel like that modern society is crooked in different ways... out of balance with the natural, like how the elders lived i suppose. Gotta find balance again, and also for me, the t.. was caused by way too loud volume (rave party), something way beyond a natural life..
I think the world is getting more fucked up by the day. "Culture" wars, true degenerates in politics and in power (both Biden and Trump are perfect examples), wars (nothing new), climate change, habitat destruction, overpopulation, celebratio of idiocy (pop culture from 1980s feels like high culture now)...
