So sorry. My T is the loudest it's ever been. My family is carving pumpkins while I am in the worst state I have ever been in my life. Yesterday I felt okay!! What the hell is going on. I have 2 grinders in my head. Does anyone hear have it that loud, I have ear muffs on and it's loud. Like it can't get louder. God help us.

@4Grace I quite literally cannot wear earmuffs without having panic attacks and my heart beating incredibly fast
I am also terrified about worsening caused by hearing aids last night. At about my worst. T is severe plus. I think I had it occasionally even worse when waking up, but this is now steady state. Now, again, I am praying for my "terrible" tinnitus I had until yesterday to come back. Indeed, we need to be ULTRA careful.
@cyberspace - I have them on now. Family over. It is impossible. The sound. No way anyway has T like this and walks around like nothing is going on. This is insane. I can't do the hermit thing. I am so sorry. I am not well. Trying to stay calm. I need someone to talk to I'm person. This is too much. It is now both ears!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@gameover - buddy I'm so sorry, I am in the fight of my life. feel like I am at a 10 plus no exaggeration. My body could not possible produce something louder. A 100 tones at once. A 100 different sounds. Some going in and out. I feel like it's related to the noise trauma but more what I ate yesterday. So reactive to food. I am pacing a lot. Trying to relax. By some miracle I was fairly happy just yesterday!
@gameover - how much louder would you say you T is with protection. On my life. Mine is astronomically much much much louder. I had some half good days in the past. With muffs on it was actually fairly comforting. You could hear the pure tone but you could hear some silence. Now it's just full of sound. How is your 10 compared to your one? @Juliane everyone. Sorry. I am terrified.
@4Grace, I am so sorry to see you in such a constant struggle. 100 tones? Mine is never more than 2-3 at the same time, usually 1-2. Mix of static/hiss/ringing, rarely tonal. Usually plugs make my T louder if there is decent amount of noise (like in a car). Now, I am in a quiet room, and T is loud. Donning earmuffs does not change it much at all, still loud.
@gameover - I apologize to everyone for yesterday. I think many don't know what this thing is capable of.. honestly don't worry what happened to me will not happen to most. One or 2 people became like me. It's sounds like they are stretching the truth. They are not. I cant live at this new level.
