@gameover unfortunately the gun shot caused a notch in my high frequency hearing. My tinnitus 1 year mark is on 11/20/23 and I honestly have not seen any improvement since the incident. Hopefully one day things will get better but highly doubtful. How have you been?

Sorry to hear it, but isn't your case relatively stable and no hyperacusis? Lots of hope for you. I have been doing sometimes better, sometimes worse. Still recovering from a terrible spike from using hearing aids for an hour to play some crickets. Working now, which is tough, but helps divert attention from this horror. Still grieving.
@Ryan Scott I am 14 months into mine and I too fear that I may never improve naturally, but there is definitely a trend of several success/improvement stories who have that fall between the 18-24 month mark. It's like they finally see some small improvements around then, and then more improvements following. Praying that's the case for us, and others.
