Not all cases get worse. My brother who has it because of hearing loss has had it 16+ years. His is the same level of noise. My father got it from aspirin 30 years ago. Also stayed the same volume. Each case is different. Keep faith.
cyberspace
@Mo8409 was his originally triggered by an acoustic trauma?
kingsfan
@Mo8409 It isn't until you cross a certain threshold... That's my experience.
RunningMan
Mine keeps getting worse, unfortunately.

3 friends of mine have it no change. They still go to concerts.
cyberspace
@RunningMan how much do you protect against noise etc?
RunningMan
I have hearing loss. When my tinnitus elevated in intensity significantly suddenly 21 months ago, I started protecting when mowing, biking, driving, using loud equipment like a blender, avoiding walking near others' mowers & barking dogs, etc. I haven't used headphones/earbuds.
cyberspace
@4Grace is theirs mild and caused by noise trauma?
4Grace
@cyberspace - guy number one. Places tiles for a living. Honest to God uses tile grinder everyday. No ear protection. He just deals with it. Lives life normal.
4Grace
@cyberspace - 2nd guy. Noise trauma 25 years ago. Works construction. No protection. Goes to concerts. Had not changed at all. Zero.
