Their invention / intervention is able to target and grow progenitor cells in the brain, creating new neuronal pathways and healing damaged brain areas. They are very new, but they are going to be what significantly improves and even heals many brain conditions such as CP, TBI, early onset dementia, etc. They have the most advanced MRI technology to view and gain information on the brain

They already have clinical trial completed for CP and expect FDA approval within the year. Treatment facility is in Monterrey, Mexico becuase it is already approved there for CP and they are able to use it for other conditions that are not approved yet but are seeing life changing results. Children with CP who can't walk are literally starting to walk after this…

Anyway, tinnitus is on their list to target in future in a clinical trial but they are going to be focusing on other things first. However he does believe it could help my case as we know there was nerve damage in inner and and possibly auditory nerve, and dormant progenitor cells lie in these areas..

Furthermore, they can target many places at once, so they would target my inner ear and auditory nerve as well as significant areas that showed up in extensive diagnostic testing..

It's an hour a day for 28 days in was looks like a huge tube that has magnetic fields and specific radio frequencies along with technology to pinpoint in the brain where to target damage and provide stimulation and regeneration by "awakening" progenitor cells. This work is beyond fascinating and the before and after brain imaging speaks for itself.

Great post - and well done for securing the call.
Be great to see this type of advancement in the wild, to actually be able to bypass damaged brain areas and form new (synaptic I assume) connections around.
Sounds sci-fi but advancements like this hopefully aren't far off.
Now you have a foot in the door so to speak, it may help you become a candidate in the future

@DeanD I can actually get it done now, I would just have to pay. Given my story and rare condition, he offered to pay for half of the treatment. I am not going to share numbers, but I cried when he told me that. He is an amazing person and brilliant doctor and scientist.
DeanD
@ErikaS - that's amazing and incredible. It's a shame we do not have more in the tinnitus field like him on our side. Are you going to take him up on his offer?
ErikaS
@DeanD I would say there is a more that 50% chance that I will. Just need some time to figure out logistics since you need to be there (Monterrey, Mexico) for 30 days. There are two nice hotels near by that have very good accommodations for their patients.
ErikaS
@DeanD with your FND diagnosis along with the severe T and R, I am sure he or one of the neurologists would definitely talk to you regarding those things. People post stroke or brain injuries go there. Let me know if you want any further info.
DeanD
@ErikaS, yes that would be great if you're happy to share their details - thank you!

Great post. Would this be available to anyone? I want to go.

It is no guarantee. But in my opinion, there are very strong indications of how it could work especially those who have tinnitus directly related to inner ear hair cell/nerve damage and even auditory nerve damage.
