Alot of people have normal hearing up to 8k. Which is where most sounds live. After that most people have some degree of hearing loss in extended frequencies up to 16k depending on age. My daughter who is 10 can easily hear up to 18k. My wife and I top out around 12k we are in our 40's

That means that I don't have to worry about that ? Because the standard audiogram and the test with the words were good. The words were even better then a 18 year old they said by the audiologist centre

Don't do online hearing tests. You can get an extended hearing test at a medical office.

I cant really make that diagnosis. I just know the reason most places don't test above 8k is because most sounds are not in that range and almost everyone has some hearing loss there. It's not to say it doesn't matter, it just matters less. My audiogram was normal but I have T, so it could be in that higher spectrum, I don't know.
